Server Commands This is a list of the commands which are available to you in the Terminal applet (on the home
page) presently. If you are browsing this Web site anonymously, the list represents only a small
subset of supported commands. If you have an account, you can log in using the Terminal
and reload this page to see all the commands accessible to your account. 'clear' simply clears your terminal's output buffer. This command will search all persons known to this server, by first and/or last name. This displays all global properties assigned to the current user. This displays the Message O' The Day. This displays the current time on my server. This will display a url, which should be supplied after the command. Either the location will appear in this browser window, replacing this page, or it will open in another window, depending on your preference (see command 'set click mode'). This command creates a new browser window and directs it to the URL you supply. 'help' is the "portal" command for online help. Any valid command can succeed it, and information about that command will be shown. Use 'login' to log on to vancleve.com. Depending on browser capabilities, this may or may not reload the menu applet, if it be on the same page as your terminal. This prints your name as I know it, if you are logged in. | ||
