VanCleve.com User's Guide Welcome to VanCleve.com, a site of myself, by myself, and for myself--and anyone else who wants
to use it. It is an amalgamation of online tools, as well as intellectual and artistic
content, most of it my own work. This site employs certain "bleeding edge" technologies, specifically
Java applets. In fact, navigation is currently only available by dint of the Menu applet on the
home page, so if you aren't running a current, Java-enabled browser such as Netscape,
you might better go somewhere else. (This is not a commercial site, and I'm not concerned with
accessibility; so please accept my apologies if you are blind or like to run
Lynx or something.) The upshot is,
you won't see any advertisements here whatsoever, and not even Google
can make that claim anymore. Many features of VanCleve.com require a user account, though,
simply because they depend on a persistent state (meaning your customizations are remembered whenever
you log in). But feel free to just browse my content anonymously via the Menu applet. And if you
have any suggestions, do drop me a line.
Enough prattling. This user's guide describes the various features and content on VanCleve.com. It's also the closest thing I have to a site map. Here's the index: Introduction Accessible Commands General Informational Browsing The Menu Messaging Chat Directory Calendar Adminstration | ||
